Do you remember puka shells?
That was the beginning for me.
Recognizing the beauty in a natural object, turning it into jewelry, and finding an audience that asked for more was the start of what has become a lifelong pursuit. Since spending the summer of 1975 on the beaches in Hawaii combing for Puka, I have been in a perpetual state of "beach combing." I continue to look for interesting and unique items to be incorporated into jewelry. Though my style has evolved, I still look to nature for inspiration.
